Kevin Burrus dies on the job at linen plant in Louisville, KY.
On Thursday, July 22, 43-year-old Kevin Burrus died on
the job at a linen manufacturing plant in Louisville, KY. Burrus was employed at Universal Linen on Commerce
Road, where the accident happened. Local
news reports indicate that, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Burrus’s co-workers
found him upright, pinned in between two pieces of large equipment, unconscious
and unresponsive. The area where they
found Burrus contained a number of conveyor belts and washing machines. Burrus was taken for treatment to University
Hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived. The accident is still being investigated, as
police try to determine whether or not Burrus was killed intentionally.
