Construction worker killed after falling from seven-story hotel in Arlington County, VA.

On Wednesday, July 21, a 35-year-old construction worker was killed after falling seven stories from a hotel in Arlington County, VA.  The accident happened at the Arlington Court Suites, where the victim was working for Hallmark Iron Works.  According to local news reports, the worker was installing a balcony rail on the seventh story when he fell and crashed through a glass atrium.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  The name of the worker has not yet been released.  Police and the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry are still investigating the accident, trying to determine precisely how the victim fell.
