John Jans killed in Fort Myers, FL on the job concrete truck accident.

On Wednesday, July 21, 50-year-old John Robert Jans was killed in a jobsite concrete truck accident in Fort Meyers, FL.  The accident happened at a home on La Serena Drive, where Jans and other workers for Arnold Brothers Inc. were working on a project.  According to local news stories, Jans was trying to clear the auger of concrete in the concrete truck, when he was allegedly caught in the truck.  His legs were severed in the accident.  Emergency crews were able to free Jans, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.  Police are still investigating the accident, trying to determine how Jans was caught.
