35-year-old Larry Hall dies in a construction accidcent at Arizona Public Service Co. Cholla Power Plant

On August 18, 2008 35-year-old Larry Hall of Snowflake, AZ. died in a construction accident at the Arizona Public Service Co. (APS) Cholla Power Plant. The accident occurred at approximately 1:35 PM as Hall, an employee of Zachary Construction, was working on a system of cables that were anchored to counter weights as a part of a conveyor system. For reasons not yet disclosed, the converyor started operating and Hall was pulled into the machinery suffering major fatal injuries.

OSHA has launched a full investigation of the accident.
