Walter E. Izzard killed by dump truck in a tragic construction accident

59-year-old Walter E. Izzard was killed in a construction accident. The accident occurred in the evening hours at a construction site at the 6300 block of Central Avenue in the Seat Pleasant area of Virginia when an asphalt-laden dump truck reversed over the worker crushing him. Izzard was transported to Prince George's Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead sometime thereafter.
