Construction worker in Kentucky hit by car.
On Monday, March 1, a construction worker in Erlanger, KY was hit by a car. Police report that the worker was setting up safety equipment on Interstate 75 when he was hit. He was transported to a nearby hospital, but it is believed that his injuries are not life-threatening. The incident is still under investigation. Construction work is often dangerous, but many of these accidents could be avoided if employers, workers, and drivers would follow standard safety procedure and be mindful of workers' safety. In cases where a worker is injured due to negligence, he or she may wish to file a construction accident lawsuit. Unfortunately, this is rarely easy. I have worked on these cases for twenty years, and in my experience, both individuals and companies in the construction business will do almost anything to avoid accepting responsibility for an accident. But the truth is that the law is on your side. With the help of workers compensation lawyers in Dallas, you can be sure that those resonsible for your injuries are held accountable.
