Two Texas men killed in New Mexico oil refinery fire.
On Tuesday, March 2, an oil refinery in Artesia, NM exploded, killing two workers. Both of the workers were from Texas. Two other men were injured and are in critical condition at a nearby hospital. Officials are still investigating the cause of the incident. Refinery work is unfortunately dangerous, but the truth is that many of these dangers could be avoided if clients, construction companies, and other workers would all follow standard safety procedures. When victims are hurt or killed due to someone else's negligence, family members may wish to file a lawsuit. Unfortunately, this is never an easy process. In my years of experience, refinery companies will do just about anything to avoid being held accountable for an accident. But ultimately, the law is on your side, and with the help of a Texas fatal refinery accident attorney, you can be sure that those responsible for your loved one's accident are brought to justice.
