Zachary Eggens killed in tragic building collapse at construction site in Palestine, TX.
On Thursday, March 11, Zachary Eggens was tragically killed in a construction site accident at a high school in Palestine, TX. According to police, Eggens was working underneath a portable building when the building collapsed. The incident is still being investigated.
Construction work is often dangerous, but the simple truth is that many accidents could be avoided if clients, supervisors, and other workers would all follow standard safety procedures. When these procedures are neglected and innocent workers are hurt or killed, the family members of those workers may wish to file a construction accident lawsuit. Unfortunately, this is never easy. I have been helping victims of construction accidents for twenty years, and I have seen what construction companies are willing to do in order to avoid accepting responsibility for an accident. But the truth is this: the law is in place to protect workers and their families. With an experienced construction accident attorney on your side, you can be sure that those responsible for your loved one's accident are held accountable.
