Church ceiling collapse in Rockland, MA injures one worker.
On Thursday, March 11, a construction worker was injured when a church ceiling collapsed in Rockland, MA. Officials report that the workers had been doing demolition work in the church for several days. The worker was flown to a nearby hospital, but his current condition is unknown. The incident is still under investigation.
Construction work inherently has some risks, but many accidents could be averted if employers, clients, and other workers would follow standard safety guidelines. When these guidelines are ignored and workers are injured, those workers may wish to file a lawsuit. Unfortunately, this is a difficult process. I have been helping injured construction workers for twenty years, and I have seen what construction companies are willing to do in order to avoid accepting responsibility for someone's injuries. But ultimately, the law is on your side, and with the help of an experienced construction accident lawyer, you can be sure that those responsible for your injuries are held accountable.
